Chara Savvidou was born in Nicosia, Cyprus in 2000. Growing up in a family of sports photographers, she developed a passion for visual storytelling from a young age and began photographing sports events. This early exposure to photography laid the foundation for her future career. Chara pursued her interest by studying Photography and Audiovisual Arts at the University of West Attica in Athens. Following her studies, she gained valuable experience through an internship at the Intime Sports & News Photo Agency in Athens. In the past year, Chara has been applying her skills as a sports photographer for the agency Ch. Savvides Press Sports Photographers in Cyprus.
